Sam
My name is Sam and I am the owner and stylist at Doggy Styling.
I have been a Professional Canine Stylist since 2007 after training with an award winning groomer and hold a Dog Grooming Diploma Level 3.
I have worked with dogs professionally since 2002, I am a fully qualified Canine First Aider and have a National Diploma in Animal Management.
In 2020 I completed the Pro Dog Trainer course with Absolute Dogs.
I have also written grooming articles for the magazine Dogs & Pups.
I am a fully qualified Reiki Practioner, I have also attended courses in T-Touch and Aromatherapy as well as regularly attending seminars and competition in grooming competitions around the UK. In 2011 I was privileged to attend a two day seminar given by the world famous Master Dog Groomer and writer, Melissa Verplank from the USA.
My grooming achievements include coming third in my class at The British Dog Grooming Championship 2010 with Harry the Shih Tzu & again in 2011 with Tia the Cocker Spaniel. Also being a finalist in Animology Groomer of the Month in June & July 2011.
Casper
This is Casper, he is the grooming assistant at Doggy Styling so it's his job to prepare the dogs for styling, which means that he does most of the bathing and drying of the dogs. Casper is also great at working with the nervous dogs to make them feel comfortable and safe during the grooming process.
Casper has been grooming since 2010 & he also regularly attends grooming seminars and dog shows around the UK.
Scout, Maisie, Salem & Leif
Scout, Salem, Leif & Maisie are important members of the team, it's their job to insure everything we use and sell at Doggy Styling is good enough for our doggy clients.
They have tasted all the treats and been bathed using the shampoos, if they don't like it then it doesn't get in!
